Pray for a Man from Aleppo, Syria who lost 3 daughters.

Dear prayer warriors,

Please keep praying for our new believers! Two more Muslims made decisions to follow Jesus this week. Timaeus was a Muslim convert for several years but decided to truly submit his life to Jesus and follow him. And last Saturday a Bengali man named Rasheed also committed his life to Jesus during the baptism class we were having with Joba.

You may remember that Joba submitted her life to follow Jesus three weeks ago. She was supposed to have her baptism today but hasn’t told her husband about her decision. We are encouraging her to be open with him since he was in agreement with her bible studies. However, today she is hesitating and seems to be backing out. We are going to the Bible Study right now so please please pray that she would have the courage to follow through on her decision to be obedient to Jesus in baptism.

Last Tuesday we were sharing the Gospel in an Arabic neighborhood in Astoria. We were able to make friends and pray for a Muslim man named Saber from Aleppo, Syria. He lost 3 daughters in a missile attack that destroyed his home several years ago because of Syrian President Asad’s attacks. Please pray for him that God would open his heart to following Jesus.
