God is moving in Bangladesh!
Pastor Zaman and Pastor Badol are two pastors that CTU support in Bangladesh. Pastor Zaman explained how God is moving among the Bengalis in his neighborhood.
We had sent some funds to help the church reach out to the Dhakka community during the COVID Pandemic. Now Pastor Zaman has around 500 people who have given him copies of their ID so that when further food comes in the Pastor can call them. He is sharing and praying for each person who comes to his door.
As we were praying today the Lord gave us the passage of Jesus feeding the 5,000 men in the middle of the dessert (Luke 9).
Think about it. What could induce 5,000 men (the major part of the Galilean population in the day of Jesus), to all leave their jobs, their families (and some travelled WITH their families). to leave their comforts and go out into a dessert without food just to listen to a man speak? The entire Galilean economy was put on hold for a day. Shops were closed, the fishermen stopped fishing, carpenters and merchants closed their businesses. Everybody is out in the dessert fasting! And Jesus HEALED them! .... But ... the healing lasted a really, really long time and finally the disciples started to fear. "What are we going to do with these people?!" Bright idea.... Ask Jesus to dismiss them.... send them away.... Now, does that sound like something the Lord would do?
Jesus sid, "YOU feed them." "What? With what?"
Jesus had them sit down in groups and MULTIPLIED the little the disciples DID have. This is what God wants to do in Bangladesh AND in ech of our ministries! -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pray for Sabir, unable to meet with him this week, meeting was canceled.
Pray for Joba (Mursheda does Bible study with her in park every Saturday). She reads Scripture by herself, with her husband, likes the 'story' of Jesus). Pray that we can work out a baptism with her. Joba has difficulty reading for more than 30 minutes at a time.

Faith and James Cho might be meeting with us to see if they can work together with CTU
From John Peck to Everyone: 11:51 AM
Pastor Badol is visiting Shaibol. Shaibol is a believer that ended up in jail due to an arrest for drugs. An Imam inside the jail brought him back to Islam. It sounds like Shaibol is very confused and his discipleship may have been incomplete. Shaibol has served his time for the drug offense, but needs better follow-up, it sounds like he is still willing to meet for discussions about his faith. Pray this resumption of a relationship between Badol and Shaibol works out.
Also, Pray for Shumon… David is meeting with him and Mostafa (that meeting with Mostafa includes Ruthie) on Saturdays. Also Abdul. He wants to come closer to the Lord, and say 'yes' to Jesus. Also pray for Mostafa's fathe who is in the hospital with possible COVID. He is also an unbeliever. The influence of the father is strong on Mostafa. The father seems to pull him back toward Islam regularly

Amgad is meeting with Fatima Radoncic... She has demonic issues...
He is also meeting with a new guy named Waleed. When Amgad shared with him he immediately asked for Amgad's phone number and info. They will be meeting regularly.
A third person named Adel is meeting with Amgad for discipleship. When he first came to Christ, he was meeting with Amgad and a few others. Amgad asked to pray for him and he immediately changed from argumentative to passive. At that point he was able to accept Christ and later became baptized. Pray for his discipleship.
Also pray for Yousef, who both Mursheda and Amgad have been meeting with and praying for.
And lastly, Pray for Mursheda and Amgad who will be meeting with Saber tomorrow...

Names to pray for from Pastor Edward Zaman, in Bangladesh:
Rezaul karim
Loman Mia
Jibon Anondo Dash ('Man of Peace)
Jashim Uddin
Tushto Dash
Chanchal ('Man of Peace')
Edward has been using some CTU funds to grocery-shop for people, giving them food. Edward is also getting ID cards to re-contact people to give them groceries when he gets more food supplies to them. Numbers could go up to 500 people to contact for prayer and grocery distribution. It may be that the people who are 'men of peace' can help create an evangelism/revival outbreak through the food distribution.
Pray for 'God's Spirit in multiplication' to anoint in Pastor Edward's food distribution to others in Bangladesh, so that even if the physical limitations of providing for only 100-200 is actually present, there will be 'enough' to feed 500!

We pray for Prodip as well, that during his Buddhist retreat he would see Jesus and be drawn AWAY from Buddha and towards Jesus.. That even his fellow monks would see Jesus and know that He is God. May they all come to Christ!
God bless you all. Amen!
