God continues to move!

Dear prayer warriors,

Thank you so much for praying continually for CTU! This last week our house church in Bangladesh opened up with Pastor Badol. Everyone in attendance was either Muslim or Muslim background. God is continuing to grow the church every day.

Mursheda Parveen was invited by an interfaith organization run by Muslims, to break the Ramadan fast with them and share her testimony. She made about eight new contacts that she is reaching out to them weekly. She asked that we pray for shah, Badsha, Joy,Shaju, Farzana, Jabon, Shahanaz, and Monira.

Please continue to pray for Hasib and Jahanara Begum who accepted Jesus here in New York this last month. Jahanara doesn’t have a cell phone and it is difficult to keep in touch with her.

I was also able to reconnect with Shumon and ate Iftar (the breaking of the Ramadan fast) with him. He asked me to discuss our Bible Studies with his Imam named Ruhul. (Ruhul is an experienced Quranic scholar that has memorized the entire Quran.). So last Tuesday we had a long discussion about the love of God and what it means. We will continue meeting with Ruhul for the month of May before he returns to Bangladesh. Please pray that these discussions will have an impact on Shumon.

Thank you guys for praying weekly for us. God is cutting some deep inroads for the Gospel in favor of the Bengali people.
